The Priory - our meeting place

The Priory Public House is technically in Cleckheaton but if you're coming in from the motorway (M62) and get as far as the town, you've gone too far.
As can be seen from the map, take the junction 26 exit and head towards Cleckheaton on the A638. For a short distance after the motorway roundabout this is dual carriageway and comes into single carriageway and 30mph limit. Be careful before the traffic lights because there is a filter lane for a road to the right just before the separate filter lane for the right turn at the lights.

Take the right turn at the lights and continue up a slight incline through a double bend (first bend to the right) and under a railway bridge. After a while along the following straight stretch there is a church on the right. The entrance to the Priory is just round a bend after the church and on the same side. If you get to the T-junction with the B6120, you've gone too far.

The pub serves a reasonable selection of bitters & lagers, whisky & whiskey (for those that need the distinction) and has soft drinks in abundance
