Experience: I have been riding since 92, I always wanted a bike when I was younger but could never afford it. The first one was a 30th birthday present to myself so I am not so much born again as a late starter. A few bikes later I bought the mille in 2001 and realised just how little I could ride such a capable bike. After some training and passing both the advanced test and in 2004 qualifying as an observer it is still a lot better than me but at least I can now do it justice.
The Triumph is an ex "speed triple challenge" bike. In fact a race winner and is great fun to ride and surprisingly quick.
Like most of us I don't get out on the bike as much as I would like but get at least one good foreign trip a year and as many runs as I can. These days I am on the club committee and am runs coordinator. I hoped my wife would believe me that it meant I had to go on all the runs but no such luck!!
