WYAMs Training Team
Program of events for 2008
The training committee met the other week and determined the list of events for this coming year. Last year WYAMs helped 15 people to successfully pass the Advanced Motorcycle Test so we are looking to continued support from our team of Observers and continued commitment from all of our Associates.
Our first event of the year will see a return of an old favourite, the East Coast training day. For those that remember these events from the past, they always drew a good level of support and enabled people to get out for the day to focus on developing their riding.
This will be followed by a half-day training event on the 8th June, meeting at Jordan’s Bike shop and an evening run from Hartshead Moor services on July 23rd.
Due to popular demand, we also have two Machine Control evenings scheduled, one for the 6th May and the other on the 3rd September.
We are also looking into arranging something specifically for Observer training, possibly in conjunction with i2i motorcycle academy. As always, if any Full Member is interested in finding out what is involved with becoming an Observer, please contact Andrew Lodge and he will put you in touch with a Senior Observer who will be more than happy to explain what it is all about.
So to enable you to get all these dates in your diary here is a quick summary:
Tuesday 6th May - Machine Control evening
Sunday 8th June - Half day training from Jordan’s [more]
Wednesday 23rd July - Training evening from Hartshead Moor Services
Wednesday 3rd September - Machine Control evening
We look forward to seeing you all at these events.

Training Committee Secretary
