One Day Motorcycle Emergency Aid Courses

Courses run from 09:00 – 16:00
(Courses provided by Leeds Metropolitan University in conjunction with Leeds City Council and West Yorkshire Police)
Course aims:
A basic course designed for motorcycle riders and passengers who wish to acquire life support and first aid techniques, or as a refresher course to update knowledge and skills.
The course will :
- Address the type of accidents and injuries that may be sustained by bikers. - Give practical information on ‘incident management’ and ‘protecting the scene’ - Provide current information on crash helmet removal and offer delegates the opportunity to practise techniques.
Certificate :
A Motorcycle Emergency Aid Certificate (valid for three years) will be awarded to all those who complete the practical assessments during the day.
